The High Dials

The High Dials are a Montreal-based band with a revolving line-up centred around founders Trevor Anderson (singer-songwriter) and Robbie MacArthur (guitars). Their music is shaded with psychedelic, electronic and folk rock influences yet rooted in a timeless pop sensibility.

The High Dials have a deep back catalogue and extensive tour history. Their releases have won praise from the NME, Spin and Washington Post among others. High Dials music has featured in various TV shows – two of their songs can currently be heard in the hit Netflix series “House of Cards”.

In 2013, the band returned from a lengthy performing hiatus in which they composed two soundtracks, collaborated with legendary Rolling Stones producer Andrew Loog Oldham and completed new studio work – the “Yestergraves” and “Desert Tribe” EPs. In the fall of 2014 they toured the UK and Ireland and made a stop at New York’s CMJ music marathon.

2015 saw the band release a new full-length LP “In the A.M. Wilds” (Fontana North/Universal), which the Toronto Sun described as a seductive blend of “dancier grooves, pumping post-punk basses, woozy psychedelic sonics, and soothing dream-folk.”

The High Dials performed in Latin America for the first time in November with festival shows in Mexico and Colombia. They are currently working on new material.
